All of my salts, (except the Himalayan salts which are used in the preparation of other types of salt) are hand ground in a proper ritual with intent specific to their particular type. Our salts are sold by weight not volume. Except for the smaller vials, which are more suitable for placement on your altar, night table or desk, the larger jars all contain a clear quartz crystal to amplify the power of the salt. You will periodically want to charge the quartz crystal. Our salts are packaged in jars and tins, so my personal recommendation is for your first time purchase get a jar or tin and after that buy refills in plain baggies without the quartz crystal. Unless you just like collecting jars.
